Commonly known as possums, these pests are the only marsupial native to the United States. Light gray in color, opossums have five toes on each foot and a tail with
no fur. They can grow to 33 inches long and a foot tall. Opossums like to eat garbage, fruit, vegetables, green plants, insects, snakes and small mammals and take up
residence in hollow logs, rock crevices, pipes, attics, and beneath buildings.
