This pest is the only crustacean that has become completely adapted to spending its life on land. With an oval body and seven pairs of legs, pillbugs like to live
in moist locations and eat decaying vegetable material. They are easily recognized by their back which is made up of seven, hard, individual plates. Most pillbugs
will live for two years.
